Please review the release notes for important information on the content of the update.
Clients must be on a minimum WinRecs version of 297.0.0 to apply version 298.0.0.
Recommended update steps:– Download the 298.0.0_UpdateGuide.pdf and review in detail
– Download the 298.0.0_ReleaseNotes.pdf and review in detail
– Access the ftp://web.med2020.ca/WR2Update/298.0.0 and download the required update executable file(s).
– Update your test/live databases as per your usual internal process (turn off HL7 interface during update, if applicable)
– Forward the “dbresults.xml” generated by the update to Client Services for review at support@med2020.caIMPORTANT NOTES – PLEASE READ:
All known 2021 CIHI Fiscal Edits and table updates including Cancer Care changes have been incorporated into 298.0.0.
For those sites with DAD and NACRS Groupers, the 298.0.0 Release contains a Grouper Engine update. Fiscal 2021 DAD and NACRS Level 2/3 abstracts must be batch grouped prior to submitting 2021 Period 01 files to CIHI. A warning message indicating “No Grouper value…” will display should the record not be grouped with the current grouper year.
Clients must send Facility Information files prior to submitting and must be on WinRecs version 298.0.0 to create the 2021 Facility Information Files. After all releases have been applied sites with CACS and/or CMG groupers should have all coders check to ensure they can see grouper values in the visits. For Citrix clients this should be confirmed on all Citrix IP addresses. If grouper values are not displaying on a workstation/s please go to ftp://web.med2020.ca/Tools/ and download the file called regasm.zip. Extract the file to the desktop/s of the affected computer/s. Double click the file; a black window will flash, and the process is complete. This will register the grouper dll.
MED2020 has passed the required vendor testing for DAD and NACRS for Fiscal 2021.
